Coco peat / Coir pith, also known as Coco Coir, is a byproduct gained during extraction of coir fiber from sustainable coconut husks. It is used as a perfect organic medium to recondition soil, germinate seeds, and as an entire growing media for vegetable and flower cultivation, farms, and greenhouses. It is a primary component in high-quality potting mixtures and is ideal for soilless gardening. Hydrate the coco coir bricks slowly by using 25 liters of water and allow the moisture to be fully absorbed. Once the block is completely reconstituted, its hydrated volume will yield 60 – 75 liters of rich potting soil alternative.

Husk chips (Coir Mulch) are produced from the husks at the outer layer of the coconut and consist of long fibers and sponge-like pith particles. These coco chips are ideal for potting mixes to increase air porosity and moisture retention. Husk Chips are ideal for home gardening and horticulture, especially for orchids, Bromeliads, Gerbera, Anthurium, Clivia, and Roses. They also make excellent pet bedding. Hydrate the blocks slowly by using water, and once the block is completely reconstituted, you will get a high yield of usable material.
